<p>During the summer there are lots of <strong><a href="http://www.manlyliving.com/dragonflies.html">dragonflies</a></strong> flying around. Here is a picture of a pretty red one that landed in the backyard over the weekend. We are lucky enough to have lots of dragonflies this year so I&#8217;ve been getting a few pictures while I am out gardening - in addition to the <strong><a href="http://www.manlyliving.com/red-dragonfly.html">red dragonfly</a></strong> above I have photographed a <strong><a href="http://www.manlyliving.com/green-dragonfly.html">green</a></strong> and <strong><a href="http://www.manlyliving.com/blue-dragonfly.html">blue</a></strong> one too!

This is a picture of the horseshoe my great grandfather nailed to the telephone pole outside his home over 50 years ago. You can see that it has been there for a long time, and the weather has started to eat the horseshoe away as it rusts over the years.
